The current exhibition at the PARKETT Space presents selected works made exclusively by artists for Parkett Magazine. On view are a wide variety of 170 diverse works on paper, photographs, prints, objects, paintings, videos and other media, all of which express and render a specific artistic vision and position. The show’s journey across three decades charts the vast changes that have swept through the art world since the 1980s. From the inevitable march of new and old ideas that always surrounds contemporary art, to significant shifts in production including the increasing interconnectedness of artistic centers across the globe, the impact of new technologies on artmaking, and more.
