Quote from Parkett
“Tim Rollins: I love what we do with our projects. We drive people crazy because they can’t figure out what it is. Is it social work? Is it a school? Is it an art project? Is it a fraud? Is it socialism? Is it rehabilitation for juvenile delinquents? Richard Cruz: All and none of the above!”

Artist Video
In this short video excerpt Tim Rollins talks about some aspects of his art.
Artists’ Contribution to Parkett 100/101
"Parkett No. 20 published in June 1989 changed our collective life. The images, the essays, the dialogues were nothing short of revelatory and energized our work beyond belief. You see, unlike most art journals that are about creative work, Parkett has consistently been a creative work of art in and of itself. Parkett is not a mirror. It is a looking glass...We deeply appreciated the dialectical power of the journal as phenomenon and it's motivation to build a critical community approaching the subject ( our process and artwork ) from all approaches ( even some very critical of what we were doing at the time .)"
